gutter guards

a recent show had foam inserts that fit into the gutters instead of regular gutter guards ---where can i find info on these?

Re: gutter guards

I just saw this show and have the same question - did you get a reply?

Re: gutter guards

I found them on This Old House website under the Weston House. They are called Leaf Defier. I too would like to hear from someone that they work because they are expensive. I have 15 mature Oaks and Hickorys on a town lot so guards would be a big help.

Re: gutter guards

I wonder if they would keep out pinestraw. How much are these guards? Who carries them? Are they easy to install?

You might want to check out RainTube.
Whether or not your are environmentally conscious this product works pretty good, can handle up to 2000 gallons in an hour.

It is made from recycled milk jugs and can be recycled again when it is removed.

Just goes into your existing gutter.
