Groundhogs!

Last year I had a family of these pest living under my deck. I borrowed a live trap from my father-in-law and was able to catch three small ones and one large one. I figured there had to be more but didn't see or catch any more. We'll this year there back! I got the trap again and am waiting to see what happens. I have been using fresh carrots in the trap and that seemed to work well last year, but this year it hasn't worked. Anyone got a better bait or better yet a way to get rid of these darn pest?

If lead's not an option for you, how about poison? Of course, then you'd have to crawl under the porch and pull out the stinky carcasses.... trap and kill sounds like the most practical.
