Green Painting Products

We are working on an addition to our home for my elderly parents. My father is 86 and has breathing problems. I would like to use green products for painting and carpeting without the fumes and chemicals. Can you help me locate a place where they carry these products? We will be ready for carpeting and paint in about 6 weeks.

Thank you so much

Take a look at our gallery of Green Showrooms. It will give you an idea of what's out there, and help you to know what to look for in your neighborhood.

Mythic Paint! It's fantastic and, to the best of my knowledge completely safe for everyone (including your pets). It is more costly but I believe it is definitely worth it. The paint goes on fantastic, but I suggest that if you haven't painted in awhile go with the Black Label brand. It has primer in it already, and it has great coverage (and I was using it on textured walls). I hope this helps. It's a great, great product.
But I wouldn't buy it over the internet, find a retailer and go there in person. I believe some Ace Hardware's carry it. The color difference from the website to real life is substantial.
