Graywater problem

Thank you for reading and offering help! Our usually dry basement has seen a LOAD of water this last week...We purchased a sump pump and have drained most of it out. Today I went down to check on it and noticed the floor filled again, YIKES! Then heard a noise from the graywater septic in the corner, seems the water could be coming from there. I am running laundry today, did on Monday (there was water then) and we first noticed the end of last week (laundry on thursday). Any ideas, suggestions, thanks for the help!! Oh, we live in NH, in an 1899 Victorian farmhouse with a stone foundation that normally weeps in the spring, but we are able to run the dehumidifier and take care of it.
Thanks from a frantic wife!

Re: Graywater problem

Sounds like the dry well that services your laundry or the pipe to it is clogged. Troubleshoot by not doing laundry and see what you get, or run a snake through it.
