Gas grill precautions after no use for almost a year?

I bought a brand new grill last year and we used it a few times. It was cleaned and covered and has stayed on our deck over the fall/winter. There was no snow, maybe only about an inch the whole winter. Can I just turn it back on and use it or is there anything I should check for safety?

Check for leaks. Mix a soppy solution in a spray bottle turn the gas on without turning on the burners and spray the solution on all the gas lines. If there is a leak you will see bubbles from the soap.

Also, check the orifice for spider webs, if gas doesn't reach the burner. Clean, if needed.

Make sure all of the connections are tight...

Blow out the tubes with compressed air if possible. Spiders love to put their webs in there.

check out for the leakage in it as you can do this by just putting the hot water in it if there is leakage then surely it will show bubles in it. it is safer to use if there is no leakege in it

Gee what a great ides! I got it what if you mixed a little soap with it. What do you think?
