What can I plant for a ground cover for under blue spruce, ground is very dry?
Howdy think plastic flowers. It's not the dry so much as the acidic soils from the tree needles..
We've planted some camellias and native dogwood and azaleas (Pacific dogwood). The first four camellias and azaleas have been in for almost a year and seem to be doing well, if we can keep the deer and slugs from defoliating them. There are rhododendrons around the edges that get a bit more sun and have been here for at least a few years. Hope this is helpful.
