Flooring options for radiant heated floors

We retrofitted a 1940's house with Wirsbo when we did a major add-on. Next project involves remodeling the last of the old house. Some is old birch floor, but patched with plywood and pine strips, some is wood underlayment with old linoleum. I had hoped to tear it all up and put in ceramic, but don't know when I'll have the time/money for that. I have Alloc in other parts of the house that works OK with the heat. Just wondering if anyone has experience with other options that will stand the temperature fluxuations and kitchen and entryway wear. BTW, we live in northern MN so it also has to stand snow melt off of boots.
Thanks for your comments and help.

Re: Flooring options for radiant heated floors

laminate, tile and engineered hardwood are your only real options

for your entrance though as mentioned about the snow and such go with tile in that area
