Try to make this short, have cement slab foundation and before we bought the house about 1/4 of the house was 'jacked up'. Now the floors are 'sagging' in different areas of the kitchen and small dining area.(personaly I think they did a nasty job) The kitchen is vinyl and the dining area is carpet. Wanting to change the flooring but want to try to even the floor as much as possible. I am told that the only true way is to break the cement and repour. Not in my lifetime! Also was told that the product that can be poured to take care of any sagging won't work cuz of too much difference in the high to low areas. Is there any way to take care of this problem? I'm not really asking to have it all straight even, just to make the difference so chair legs etc don't keep coming apart and or when you walk across the floor you really don't feel it.
