Hello, We have hot water radiant in-floor heating and are going to leave our house for the south for about 5 or 6 months. If we DON'T turn off our water supply to the house, our insurance says they won't cover us unless we have someone come into the house every day to check for possible damage. Do we have to leave the water system on to support the in-floor heating system? We live on Vancouver Island and it rarely gets below zero degrees (Celsius) here, but it does happen from time to time, but never for more than a few nights in a row. Please respond to: [email protected]. Many thanks.
