First floor powder room ceiling fan leaking

I discovered my first floor power room ceiling fan leaking. The dry wall is dry and the water is coming from the metal housing. I checked my attic for leaks and there are none. The air conditioning has been on for quite a while. The bathroom is not used often, so we seldom use the fan. I don't know if condensenation has built up in the duckwork or what. Need help on where to start and what to look for.

Re: First floor powder room ceiling fan leaking

There can be a few possible sources for a leak like this, and with so little information provided by you, it's almost impossible to pinpoint the exact cause.

A potential starting point: shut the main water to the house and see if the leak stops.
