exterior brick to fascia

I have a new home built in Alabama with in the last year. I have notice at the top of the brick around the house, where the brick goes behind the fascia/eve is a gap. Some larger gaps and some very narrow. On inspection in the attic I noticed that the gap could be seen straight down through to the outside. No barrier from bugs or critters. I sealed those gaps using spray foam. But what about around the rest of the house? Along the walls where brick meets siding they used silicone. But not at the top. Need to understand this before I make a big deal with warranty dept.

Thanks for any input.

You need to call an expert and inspect your home because its looking serious matter. When you build your home? Have you insured your home?
