I have seen threads here before about using registers, ducts and booster fan(s) to distribute warm air from a woodstove heated room to the rest of the house. I would like to do the same, but my attic is horrible to work in yet I have clear access in my unfinished basement. Obviously, doing this through the ceiling with the hot air rising is idea. However.......
What do folks thing about this type of system run through floor registers? I think it would work well as the main room that gets warm from the stove gets very warm. It would also make it easier for me to clean and/or service the fan.
