Downstairs toilet whistling

I just replaced the shut off valves to the upstairs bathroom sink. When I turned the water to the house back on, the water pressure was operational. However, now when the downstairs toilet is flushed, I'm hearing this extremely loud whistling when the tank is filling. Please advise.

Re: Downstairs toilet whistling

Maybe it doesn't know the words

try adjusting the float or adjust the fill valve-close it a little

I agree, it's probably too much water pressure.
