Do I need to re-blow insulation in attic after re-wiring work?
TOHFan

Hi. My attic has the yellow blown insulation. I did work there re-wiring for ceiling fan & light control. In that process I stepped on and compressed the insulation in several places above the trusses. I also had to separate the insulation in places to trace the wires. I fluffed it up as best as I could.

Do I need to re-blow my attic?

Thank you

It would probably make no big difference, since you scattered the insulation evenly after you finished your work.

However, depending where you live, what you have up there may not be enough for the latest insulation code. Not knowing how thick the insulation is, I can't say much, but it is worth looking into.
