Dismantling brick structure with intent to rebuild...

Hey guys, in the neighborhood I live here in Texas, all the homes have a very pretty brick mail box. There is actually a mail box that's installed inside of the brick structure, which after 30 years, has started to rot away. I'm going to be replacing this, and I'm looking for some advice on how to dismantle it.

I will have to take apart the upper 1/3rd portion of the structure, brick by brick. As it stands, the brick matches my house, so I'd like to be able to take it apart without breaking the bricks. I can figure out how to do the masonry work afterwards, but I just don't want to risk breaking the bricks. Is it pretty easy? Anyone done this before with the intent on rebuilding it?

Thank you! Any advice is appreciated...
