Dirt Crawlspace Insulation

Hello. I have a question. We just remodeled our front porch which is above a dirt crawlspace. We insulated under the porch floor with the paper side of the insullation toward the dirt floor. Now, I have read that the paper side needs to be toward the warmest part, or toward the floor. My question is, what will happen if we leave it the way it is??? or, must we tear it down and reapply?? Thanks for your help!

Re: Dirt Crawlspace Insulation

Unfortunitly you should take out the insulation and reapply. The paper side faces toward the living quarters. If reversed condensation can result and destroy the hard work or the new porch.
