I have a Delta Kitchen faucet that was leaking from the base of the spout.
I replaced the o-rings, but am having a problem securing the spout retainer, and as a result the spout bonnet will not lock in.
Is there a trick to this?
Eureka. I finally got it. After many trials and errors, it's finally locked in.
I pulled the spout ever so slightly from the bottom,
the opening of the retainer goes in front, and success.
It's awesome that you managed to fix this yourself. Just in case anyone has anything to add to your initial inquiry, I have moved this to Kitchen Sinks.
Thanks!
