Decorative end on 6X6 post

I have to replace a 6X6 post on a wood fence and it has a point on the end of the post. How do you cut the end to be a point? The cut starts at about 6 1/2 inches from the top and tapers to a point at the end. This is only decorative but I would like to match all the other post.

Re: Decorative end on 6X6 post

That seems like an awfully sharp point for a fence post. What I usually do is draw a line around the post, use a circular saw or miter saw set at 45 degrees, and cut on all four sides at the line.
