Deck Chairs

Have aluminum deck chairs that are marking the deck paint. Applied deck over last summer. The chairs do have a flat space in front & back 2in by 2in. Is there something that I can attach to the chairs that will stay on and cut down on the marking of the paint (white streaks). I hope the deck over was not a mistake!

Go to a hardware store and look for furniture glides or table leg caps that are the right size for your application. If you go with a furniture glide, it shouldn't mark the deck, but will slide quite easily. If you want more grip, there are rubber feet, however these could leave rubber marks on the deck.

When you find the right foot cover, walk over to the glue aisle and grab a tube of Shoe Goo, it is a thick and very strong, indoor/outdoor glue that works with most materials.

AHA! Once again you've discovered one of the secret weapons I keep in my toolbox.

This stuff is amazing and once you've tried it you'll never buy any other general purpose glue again as they cannot compare. Good Job Spruce!

Doesn't matter so long as we don't post it on the web somewhere then it won't be a secret anymore.

OOPS! I think we're a bit too late for that. Oh well, maybe they will make a "sticky" of this thread
