I know this build has been done for quite a while...but after watching some of these on repeats, it only confirmed my opinion that this was the least "educational" TOH in recent memory. I've watched this program, and it's "craftsmen's" various shows for many, many years. One thing that has always been constant is the focus on the building, the engineering, the problems, and the fixes. This series, in New Orleans, seemed to spend at least 90% on touring the city and houses that are already complete, and only 10% on actually showing the work being done.

It seemed like every time they came back to the house after touring the city or interviewing historians, there would be another 50 hours of work done on the house. Very frustrating when you are watching the program to see the excellent work done by these master craftsmen. I felt this program was more of a New Orleans Tribute show, than anything else.
