Cost of DC Row House Rewiring? Too much$??

Hi, I am new here and greeting to everyone!

We are planning to fully remodel a 1280 Sq ft DC Row House was built in 1916.

Just want to find out what would be the best price for entire house rewiring.

Should we have the HVAC Duct installation before or after?

Lastly, any recommended contractors in the DC area would be greatly appreciated.

If you first remove all sheetrock/paneling etc from the walls and ceilings I believe you will actually save money.

Also, replace all wiring, panels, boxes, HVAC, plumbing.

Depending on local wages expect to pay about $40 per opening (switches, receptacles, lights, main panel, meter & service entrance panel, HVAC hook-up). Don't get too bogged down with details, things will average out.

Then, get several bids but don't necessarily go w/ the lowest.

Good Luck from Columbiana, Alabama
