Corners of house bowed out

The exterior of my 40 year old colonial is bowing outward above the foundation line on opposite corners of the house. What is the problem and how can it be fixed.

Re: Corners of house bowed out

It could be a rotted sill or termite damage sill. If it is that section of sill can be replaced. Not a job for a novice.

Re: Corners of house bowed out

You need a professional engineer to evaluate what the cause is --- framing , rot , insect or foundation issues.
