Condensation on Interior side of window

My home is four years old.During the winter, with the heat on condensation builds up on the interior side of the glass (single pane glass). It is not practical to put up storm windows,my HOA wouldn't allow it.Why is this happening and how can i correct it.

Re: Condensation on Interior side of window

Thermo-dynamics. The cold glass condenses moisture in the ambient are inside the house. You'll get it even with double pane windows, though not quite as bad.

There are plastic sheet products specifically made to be stretched across the widow itself or across the opening and sealed against the wall which will help reduce/eliminate the condensation.

You can also open the d****s/shades to allow airflow against the windows which will keep them from condensing as much.
