Hey there. I'm a big fan of "This Old House," and I've been watching it since I was little.
Anyway, with summer fast approaching, I'd like to do something special for my parents and I've come up with the idea of refinishing our French doors that lead out onto our deck.
They're old, the paints peeling, and they were never painted very well. Plus, there are places that need some wood filler. So, how do I go about refinishing French doors from the ground up? Getting all the paint off without breaking panes, sanding the wood, and then repainting (I think that'll be the easiest part).
