Cold air from vent hood and dampers

I have cold air rushing in from the vent hood over the stove and through the vent fans in the bathrooms. How do I correct? HELP its cold!

Re: Cold air from vent hood and dampers

They all should have backdraft dampers on them that, although not completely sealing off all airflow, should at least slow it down enough prevent air from "rushing" in.

Check that the dampers can swing closed freely.

Thanks. Are the dampers for the stove vent hood, as an example, there above the stove or up on the roof where it exits the house?

Ideally a spring loaded backdraft damper at the fan and a gravity damper at the exhaust hood outside would greatly help.
