Closed Cell Foam Insulation

Question No. 1. Spraying Closed cell Foam Insulation in your attic.
I have Plastic Soffit vents that come up from the soffit about 2-3 feet.
When spraying the Closed Cell Foam I know that you can cover the plastic itself but what do you do when you come to the opening and keep spraying up to the top of the roof boards. How do you keep that vent open??

Question No. 2. Can you cover up any electrical wiring?? I know that I will have to check with my local codes but what is the general rule for this situation?

Question 3: I was watching one of your shows and they were spraying in the basement and they were spraying foam onto the incoming gas line from the outside wall. There were elbow fittings that were also covered up with the spray foam. I know that I will have to check with my local codes. But can you cover up gas pipes with foam insulation??

Thanks a million Guys and Gals!!
