Clear Glass in Kitchen light fixtures keeps getting cloudy
We renovated our kitchen in the first quarter of this year. We hung new lantern style lights over our island and added a new light fixture over our kitchen table - full of clear bubble like glass. As the weeks past - the glass becomes increasingly cloudy - although our exterior windows do not suffer from this. What is going on? It is removable by wiping the clear bubble glass. It's as if we have a smoker in the home - but we do not. We are on central air. Can someone tell me what is going on?

No smoker in the house but you do cook in the kitchen.

Is the item actual glass or is it plastic? Plastic attracts (through static electricity) dust and contaminates out of the air. If glass, then as Jack suggests, it's probably more cooking vapor build up than anything else.

Try this: when cooking, keep the place well ventilated. See if it helps.

Questions: Does this happen only when cooking?
Does it happen anywhere else in the house? bathrooms?
Does it happen with the a/c on or off?

The A/C has been on since the bubble glass was hung.
It doesn't happen any where else in the house.

I do little to no cooking in the kitchen.....
