We have loose insulation in the attic. I suspect that our attic soffits are at least partially blocked. I've read on the internet that we can clean the soffits from outside by blowing in air to clean stuff away, removing the soffit screen then installing a baffle to keep the loose stuff away from soffit. I like this approach because our attic has lots of stuff in it including a a/c system - all added since we moved into the house so it may be difficult to reach the soffits from inside. What's the best thing to use for the baffle - regular roll insulation or something else? Have others tried this method and is it effective?
