Has anyone mentioned this yet?

Just occurred to me.

Motion detecting sprinkler head like those used to deter deer. ??? Don't know if you could adjust the sensitivity to detect something as small as cats or not.

I've seen a few vids online of motion detector sprinklers set up to get squirrels, so cats shouldn't be a problem.

Actually, it shouldn't be that hard to rig up a motion sensor to a relay to a solenoid valve that would turn on a sprinkler system big enough to hit the whole dang garden space at once.

That'd teach 'em. :D

Plant common rue, it will deter the cats.

The latest issue of TOH mag has a tip that says liberally spread coffee grounds in the garden to keep cats out.
