Can U Steam Clean Linoleum Floors?

I have real linoleum floors (forbo marmoleum), about 12 yrs old. Can I use steam cleaning floor mop, like the Bissell one, on my linoleum floors?

Thank you.

Well, I don't know the difference between your linoleum and mine but it was after store hours last night when I BROKE DOWN AND used my very nice Proctor and Gamble steam iron and it worked great. Of course I'll have to trash it when I'm done but I was desperate.

Good luck. I thought I had handled everything by this point. This has been the most exasperating experience I've ever gone through. :(

Yes, it is sheet goods laid in my kitchen about 12 yrs ago. There is one seam, goes the length of kitchen.
