I am assuming that you are talking about, say an Armstrong suspended ceiling system, correct? If that is the case, most can lights are manufactured with a bracket system as part of the unit that will work well for you.:D

You might be working in an area with limited space so the work may take time to finish. Not like one of those new_fangled TV shows where the project wraps up in twenty two minutes:cool:

A couple tricks. You want to install the tile first and then the cans lights (but only the tile that the can light goes in). Also, get an empty trash can and a hole saw (the same size as your cans) and cut all the tiles you need at the same time over the trash can. It gives you a solid place to set the tile and catches the dust.
