will it hurt the blower motor if you run it 24/7/365

Re: blower motor

I assume you're talking about your central air conditioner.

The simple answer is yes, running your a/c nonstop will hurt the various components of your HVAC system. Why? excessive heat. Every motor needs to have a chance to cool down.

The reasons why air conditions quit in the middle of the worst summer heat is - you guessed it, excessive heat, lack of service, part failures, etc.

Go easy on your a/c unit, and it won't quit on you when you need it the most.

If you want the air flow, I'd install a second blower.
