Best way to remove whitewash from walls/ceiling/beams
Spicer5

We are renovating an 18th century log home. The interior had several layers of walls and wallpaper. We have now pull a lot of that down and exposed the hand hewn logs and ceiling beams in the interior. They were all whitewashed and it's slowly flaking off. Makes a mess. what is the best way to remove this whitewash? With a brush, maybe? Thanks!

You can soda blast the logs it should remove any material on the the logs and make them look new again.
