BathrtubTile repair

The bathtub in our home had been "rehabbed" by a previous owner with a second layer of tile over the original tile. We kept noticing some leakage in the basement, and there was no access panel to see if the fittings were leaking. We finally determined after chipping out a few of the tiles, old and new that the leak was back spray in addition to bad grout, bad caulk, bad faucet seal. We have not found the matching tile to fix the removed tiles. Since this project began, we've had no bathtub use, the spout is replaced with a plug. Another aspect of this repair was the old spout was barely held on because of the second layer of ceramic tiles.
