Hi all, I recently dove head first into a bathroom vent fan installation, to save the peeling paint in my new (to me) 1957 colonial.
The line that runs through the bathroom ends in a bedroom with 3 prong outlets - which I assumed implied that line was grounded. When I opened up the box in the attic, It was clear that this was still a 2-wire line, nothing has been upgraded.
The bathroom fan (combo with light, to replace existing light fixture) obviously requires a ground. Is there anything I can do in this situation, besides getting an electrician?
