Basement insulaton or not to prevent mold
Moderncat

We had a leak that seeped to a basement apartment creating mold. We are putting the drywall back up and wondered if we should put insulation in on the exterior wall facing? Basement apartment is 3/4th under ground and 1/4 is not of the apartment is not underground.

If yes, any advice brand and type, Home Depot is my only source.

Thank you

Mold is caused by moisture, which means that it doesn't matter if you insulate or not, as long as there is moisture, there will be mold. Fix the leak issue first, then insulate and drywall to your hearts content.
