Banging Hot Water Pipes

I recently watched a show that dealt with banging sounds when the hot water is used. The fix involved something called (I think?) a ‘mickey’ to isolate the pipe from the wooden joist/beam it is attached to. Do I have this term correct? Is it readily available?

Howdy, i do not know but i just added a small piece of foam pipe insulation wrap. Also used some spray foam insulation on metal pipes - would not use it on PEX as un sure if it would damage pex.
