Back Splash Kitchen

I am remodeling my kitchen. There was wallpaper thru out the entire kitchen. After removing the wallpaper. I found primed wallpaper. My question is:
Do I remove all the wallpaper from wall before laying the backsplash, it is primed? Help

Backsplashes are the most forgiving of tiled surfaces. If the wall paper is well adhered, a light scuffing with sand paper will be all that's needed, and sometimes not even necessary to do that if the surface is porous enough.

If you are using a ceramic or porcelain tile, a mastic such as Omnigrip will work just fine. If you are using glass tiles, or the walls are a little bumpy, then use a powdered thinset you mix with water.

Thank you I am using a Mosiac glass and stone tile mix. This information was very helpful.
