Anyone have cork flooring?

I have searched and found some threads on cork flooring, but looking for someone who has cork flooring. I'd like to know how you like it, how it's held up, what room(s) you have it installed, etc.

I'm thinking about my kitchen as well as my son's bedroom.

Also, was the flooring finished? Does it stain if something is spilled?

Re: Anyone have cork flooring?

If anyone cares, I installed the flooring :)

very good install, and like the warmth of the floor. Now we'll see how it holds up.

My 14 yr old son was a big help with the install. If anything, we have memories of doing our first project together...at least the first sizable one where he stayed with me from start to finish.

Re: Anyone have cork flooring?

In 1980-84, I owned a house circa 1955 that had cork flooring in the foyer. It held up there all right but if it had been in the kitchen originally, it had been replaced.

Do you still like your cork floor? Is it slippery? Would my big, old dog be able to get traction? She can't tolerate tile or wood, but I would sure like to get the carpet out.
