Antique Aluminum Furniture - Folding chairs for beach or patio

How do I repair the webbing on my aluminum chair? The chair is from the 50's. I bought the 3" flat webbing material in a stripe and a solid. It is held on with special clips. But I can't get the clips off. I don't where to buy the clips should one break. Any help is very much appreciated.

Some pictures would be helpful. Host them somewhere else and link them here.

Would love to send pictures but I am not tech savvy enough with social media to send them. Took the pictures on my phone but can't figure out how to send them. However, in process of taking pictures, one of the clips fell off. so I did take a picture of both sides of the clip. if you lived during the 1950's, almost every household had one of these chairs. Some even had lounge chairs and/or rockers. It is actually a rocker that I am repairing the webbing on.

I did find some Pictures on ebay for folding beach chairs.

But when I tried to add the picture to this email that didn't work either. I know it would be a great inconvenience to look there. But I am flummoxed at this point as to what to do.

Thanks for trying to help.

Take the photos and load them to a photo sharing site like photobucket. Then copy the link here.
