Aeratis Porch floor anyone?

Has anyone used Aeratis porch flooring for your historic home exterior porch? Happy with it? Cost comparable to KDAT wood flooring? How long have you had it and with you install with waterproofing installation or just the basic? Thanks!

Re: Aeratis Porch floor anyone?

I use and always recommend only natural wood. I replaced our porch floor with Ipe and mahogany. They are both natually resistant to many things due to the high density of the wood fibers. The wood that was removed was over 130 years old, and still in great condition. But it had been painted over, and we wanted the look of wood. We have a Victorian house with just over 2200 square feet of wrap around porch on three sides of the house. I predrilled all holes from underneath so that no fasterner holes could be seen. Took more time that a contractor would have taken, but I like to know it was done the way I want it.
