Ditto Canuk. More info could only help.

But.....if you mean how can you get concrete to truly bond to PVC pipe.....don't know of any way you can. What's the game plan that requires a bond between these two materials?

As for removing the print from the PVC.........a very quick wipe-down with either the clear cleaner/primer or even some lacquer thinner should do the deed. But even if a very quick wipe.......you'll still likely flatten the sheen on the exterior of the pipe to some degree.

Never tried it, but some denatured or rubbing alcohol might also do the deed.

You could also try rubbing with a scotch-brite pad or some #0000 steel wool.

hot poured joint into the concrete collar stuffed 1/4 with jute first after it is cleaned and dried you use a pouring collar rope to hold the hot compound during pouring. use CPVC not PVC for the sewer transition since your joint has to withstand 160 degrees for the hot jointing. PVC isn't rated for withstanding that temperature and still perform under pressure later. if you can't wait for the concrete sewer pipe to be dry after you clean it then you have to pre-prime it with tar or oil.

Brush pvc cement on the outside of the pipe w/ the dauber & roll it in mason sand or play sand until completely covered. Let it dry. Once dried, cement will then bond w/ the sand which is bonded to the pvc pipe.

For removing the lettering on PVC pipe use fingernail polish remover on a cotton ball.
