3 Weeks After Paver-Loc... Moss Returning

I'm kinda disgusted right now.

I spent a weekend power washing the snot out of my brick patio and removing a ton of moss between bricks and then installing paver-loc (polymeric sand). My hoped for goals was that it would
a) reduce the influx of weeds

b) reduce the moss.

What I'm disappointed about is that I'm already seeing the beginnings of returning moss.

Did I do something wrong?

Or is there some other 'treatment' I can use to slow down the return of this stuff?

TIA,

---JC

I have always thought the moss between the stones/bricks/pavers etc looks attractive. Weeds not so much but moss is pretty and gives character.

" Did I do something wrong?"

Not really, but you could have done more:

1. If the space is always wet, if no sun shines there - you have a good environment for moss to grow. You must change that to have long lasting positive results. How? depends on your situation.

2. Use moss killer or bleach to treat the area - temporary solution.

What DJ said plus;

As long as you have the proper conditions for moss to grow and moss spores in the air, you'll have moss. Check out the rest of the neighborhood for moss.
