Howdy saw this old house hour and a new 20,000 hr recessed can light that is LED? Anyone know where these are available?
I've seen recessed cans at Lowes/HD. Pricey!!! And that doesn't even include the trim you need for "LED Cans" and of course you gotta buy the bulbs.
Keith W thanks i will go an look. The initial price is allot but 6 hrs a day is 20 years of life so on high ceilings sounds attractive. Oh why do the shows not tell you the manufacturer or supplier goodness knows they could reep ad $ in doing so.
Check out Cooper Lighting for where to buy http://www.cooperlighting.com/common/brands.cfm?pg=Products&brandName=Halo&group=Recessed&category=Recessed%20Downlighting%3A%204%22%20LED
and yes --- at $25+ for LED bulbs me thinks I'll be holding off for a while.
too bad the cans are unique to theses lights so before the ceiling going up might make me choose to spend $$$ more now...
