1920s tin scalloped roofing shingles

Just bought a house on the east coast that has tin shingles. They essentially look like the clay kind you'd see on California roofs. In good condition and we are about to paint them but a few are dented down near some edges from ( I'm guessing) bad ladder placement. Any thoughts on where I can find replacement shingles?

Since we can't see your shingles, click here.

Can I post a pic? Happy to do so. I had googled it already but thanks for the pointer.

We are painting the roof because as near as we know it's been 15 years since it was painted and is starting to show rust

We were told that it's tin. No reason to believe otherwise but have no guarantee

We found a good house painter who has done some architectural roofs so we are feeling pretty good about him.

But he didn't ahve a lot of ideas on where to look for reaplcement shingles.

As you can see from the pics there are a few pieces on the edges that have been crsuhed and I'd like to replace those if I can.
