In North Asheville, Mark McCullough meets builder Larry Ward, who explains that the storm damaged the home’s chimney. Mark teams up with mason Don Caldwell to clear out the bricks and debris, later joined by chimney sweep Alan Justice, who inspects with a camera and finds several cracks.
The team shares their findings with Larry to plan next steps.
In East Asheville, Kevin O’Connor joins builder Will Nicholson to replace siding after mud and water damage occured under the original siding during the storm.
Back in North Asheville, Zack Dettmore works with lead carpenter James Moore to remove a wall and add subflooring as the homeowners open up their living space.
Later, Kevin meets with the Army Corps to discuss their continued relief efforts in Western North Carolina.
