Steps:
1. Cut the boards.
2. Lay out the panels.
3. Glue and clamp the boards.
4. Sand the sides and lid.
5. Cut the handle notch.
6. Dry-fit the side panels.
7. Drill pilot holes.
8. Install the dowels.
9. Cut the dowels flush.
10. Rip the bevels.
11. Notch the feet.
12. Attach the cleats.
13. Slip the base in place.
14. Install the hinges and lid.

2. Red oak 1x6s Get two 6-footers for the base and one 8-footer for the lid.
3. ½-inch oak plywood for the floor. Get a 2-by-4-foot sheet.
4. Miller 2x dowels in black walnut. Go to Miller Dowel Company.

9. 80-grit, 180-grit, and 220-grit sandpaper
