In this video, senior technical editor Mark Powers builds a planter with a built-in trellis for a screen.
Steps:
1. Build the front and rear of the planter frame.
2. Make the ends of the frame.
3. Join the assemblies.
4. Attach the base plates.
5. Attach the casters.
6. Notch the floorboards.
7. Install the floorboards.
8. Install the 1x6s.
9. Fasten the last row.
10. Make the legs.
11. Install the slats.
12. Install the pickets.
13. Clip the corners of the top trim.
14. Attach the top trim.
15. Bolt the trellis to the planter box.
16. Notch the end pieces.
17. Install the front cap.

Get 16 of each to attach the casters.
⅜-by-4-inch galvanized carriage bolts plus washers and nuts
Get six of each to the attach the trellis to the planter.
