Steps:
1. Size the 2x4 pieces.
2. Prep the post for wiring (optional).
3. Cut the cladding.
4. Assemble the lamppost.
5. Install the dowels.
6. Make the decorative base.
7. Set the lamppost.

⅜-inch-diameter spade bit waterproof carpenter's glue to glue dowel rods in place
polyurethane glue for mitered joints on the decorative base

1-inch screw hook for hanging the lantern or light fixture
