To build the hutch:
1. Cut and assemble the glass rack
Cut glass rack pieces

Attach glass rack to top shelf
2. Build the hutch frame
Cut sides to length
Attach block below bottom shelf
Assemble box parts
3. Construct the wine rack
Bevel ends of wine rack
Mark cut lines on wine rack X
Notch wine rack pieces
Assemble wine rack pieces
Install shelf above the X
4. Attach the trim
Attach face frame pieces
Cut crown molding
Cut crown molding nailing strip
Attach crown molding
Attach base molding
2. Attach the trim
Mark the corner overhang

1. 1x15 edge-glued shelving. Get four 6-foot boards and one 3-foot board to make the sides, top, bottom, shelves, and wine-rack insert.
2. 1x3 to create support strips for the bottom board.
3. ⅝-inch square dowels to make the glass rack. Get two 3-foot lengths.
4. ⅜x3 lattice strips to make the glass rack. Get two 3-foot lengths.
5. 3¼-inch baseboard molding: Get a 6-foot length.
6. 3⅝x9/16-inch crown molding: Get a 6-foot length. 7. 2x4 to make the backing strips for the crown molding
8. 1x2 to make the face-frame stiles: Get two 6-foot boards in clear pine.
9. 1x5 to make the face-frame rails: Get at least 3 feet in clear pine.
10. 5mm lauan for the backing. Get one 4x8 sheet.
11. 1½-inch brad nails

13. 1¼-inch drywall screws
